Have you trouble with foxes in your garden?
Foxes can cause issues in gardens for most of the year, from being loud during mating season and dispersal, to digging out a new earth or den and fouling around your garden to mark their territory. They don’t pose a risk to family members or children but in some cases can be a risk to rabbits, chickens and other small companion animals you may live with.
What can you do ?
Please consult our table below for some basic advice on what to do. The reason it is basic is because you should always seek advice from a professional before taking actions to deter or encourage foxes to move on. For example, you can only use certain repellents for foxes in certain situations and need to take into consideration what other animals use the space and if there are any water sources nearby which could be at risk of harm. Please don’t believe everything you see on social media as in many cases this advice is incorrect and sometimes even illegal.
